Mustafa'nın Fidan'ı
A stay in a four-room stone house in an old Greek village — among poetry, music and the silence of the island.
About Us
A stone house, on island time
Mustafa'nın Fidan'ı is located in Yukarı Kaleköy, one of the old Greek villages of Gökçeada (Imbros). Carefully restored and decorated as a four-room stone house, our hotel has been welcoming guests since June 2019.
Each room is decorated with inspiration from the artists of Gökçeada; an art form hangs on every door. Breakfast is served in the garden, under the shade of walnut and linden trees. In keeping with Gökçeada's Cittaslow spirit, we offer a slow and peaceful stay.

See & Do
Discover Imbros through our eyes
Visit the Greek villages
Wander Eski Bademli, Zeytinli, Dereköy and Tepeköy (Gliki, Agia Theodori, Schinoudi and Agridia by their Greek names). Don't miss the dibek coffee and mastic pudding.
Watch the sunset from the castle
From the castle ruins of Yukarı Kaleköy, watch the sun go down over the island of Samothraki.
Swim in crystal-clear bays
Besides Yıldızkoy underwater national park — a 10-minute walk from the hotel — there is the surfers' paradise Aydıncık Beach, Laz Bay, Kuzulimanı Beach, and Turkey's westernmost point, Uğurlu – Gizli Liman.
Meyhanes & tavernas
Choose Yukarı Kaleköy for hilltop sea views, Tepeköy for Greek tavernas, and Kaleköy harbour for seaside restaurants and buzz. The town centre and Zeytinli also offer plenty of cafés and restaurants.
Shopping
Stroll the nostalgic İş Bankası street in the town centre. Olive oil, goat-milk soap, honey, island thyme and wine are Imbros' best-loved products. Also check out the handicraft market on the Kaleköy waterfront.
Check the ferry schedule
If you are bringing your car on busy days such as public holidays, be sure to buy your ferry ticket online. In summer, arriving at the port early is always an advantage.
Many thanks to Ekin and Mustafa for their hospitality and for making us feel at home. The mulberry and apricot trees in the garden took me back to my childhood. Listening to nature from the hammock made us forget the chaos of the city. A perfect holiday — I recommend it to everyone who loves nature.

Getting here
Gökçeada is reached by ferry from Çanakkale (Kabatepe Port); if crossing with a car in summer, we recommend buying your ticket online. The hotel is about a 30-minute drive from Kuzulimanı port. Once in Yukarı Kaleköy, follow the stone lanes uphill and look for our green sign.
